TIME INITIATED REMOTE TEMPERATURE DEFROST CONTROL 8141-00 PARAGON
For electric heat defrosting... hot gas or reverse-cycle defrosting. The length of de-frost is self-adjusting for varying loads and atmospheric conditions; accomplished by wiring an additional pressure switch or thermostat to the time control. The 8140 series has a defrost period termination fail-safe built into the time control dial. The fail-safe dial is adjustable from 4-110 minutes in 2 minutes increments. Defrost as often as every 4 hours. The time dial initiates the defrost cycle and a rise in pressure or temperature terminates the defrost cycle at pre-determined setting. Rated at 30 amps.
